Hmm well i'm not really in the mood for something that is straight romance (unless of course its a must) nor am I feeling anything yaoi or yuri based. I don't really have any particular defining genres I guess. The downside is i'm very picky :/

@_@ too many XD The ones im reading right now are hajime no ippo eyeshield 21 bleach (of course) and highschool of the dead + liar game. The ones that I remember are Onani master kurosawa, Air gear, soul eater, D gray man, berserk, Sunabozu, Death Note, Geass.

Yeaaah. Can't help ya there. The only ones of those I've read are Bleach and Death Note. XD So I'm not real sure what to suggest...

Naruto? ; I like Naruto. It's about as epic as Bleach. Especially in later chapters.

I don't read all that many shounen series despite my addiction to Bleach and Naruto, so that's hard...hmm...maybe Saiyuki? It's got the action and violence elements of shounen, even though it's not.

If you like Liar Game, you might like series like Million Girl and Mirai Nikki

Try the following:

Beelzebub - typical and fairly new Shounen fight manga with a huge hilarity and ridicule factor, a must read just to see what weird stuff can be turned into a very entertaining read ;D It's been a while since I laughed so hard over a manga ^_^ (the pool XD!)

Gantz - a classic, hardcore Shounen with SF elements. When I say hardcore I mean it. 18+ only, nudity, gore, blatantly mature material. Heads fall off, literally, in the first chapter, so don't say I didn't warn you. Over 300 chapters of flinching, nearly every chapter as controversial as can be.

For a wild shot in the dark, try Bakuman. (Not to be mistaken with Bakugan.) I can't honestly say whether it's shounen, seinen or shoujo, because it mixes elements of all of them pretty much. You'd think that a ridiculously boring-sounding topic would turn out to be a boring manga but - it's not. It's created by the people who made Death Note, Takeshi Obata and Tsugumi Ohba, so this is only reasonable. It's a manga about... making manga! I have to say I was skeptical as hell when I started reading, but as you continue you actually get dragged in fairly quickly and learn of how manga is created and this is 100% accurate. After reading (and I still follow it) I will never again say "this chapter sucks, what is the author thinking?!" over any manga I actively pursue.

As for new upcoming mangas (only a couple chapters out so far) that should be looked at and definitely followed - try Taboo Tattoo. Nearly typical Shounen battle manga with metaphysical and SF pieces. Should be warned of minor 18+ elements, partial nudity, suggestive themes and strong language at times.
