APPEARANCE:
Short silver hair frames Nicciele's pale face, partially covering one crimson eye. His "mask" is a small crown, with long spikes extending from its base, resting in his hair between the side of his head and the front. His primary attire consists of a white tailcoat, trimmed in black, and white hakama, with black boots bearing white markings. Though his height is average, his build is thin, and his appearance is rather young, Nicciele commands attention.
PERSONALITY: Cold, intelligent, and manipulative. If Nicciele thinks someone can help him, he won't hesitate to use them, and if someone gets in his way, he won't hesitate to cut them down. He has little tolerance for failure and isn't easily impressed, and doesn't care for anyone. He hates Aizen and his control over Hueco Mundo, and works tirelessly to bring down the former shinigami's rule, believing that the land of hollows should remain in the control of hollows. However, he isn't the type to rush into things, planning and manipulating constantly to put himself in control.
ZANPAKUTOU: Marea
Marea is a katana, with sapphire wrapping and an ornate silver tsuba. Nicciele is ambidextrous, and may wield it in either hand.
RESURECCION: Iro, Marea (flow, Marea)
Nicciele gains long bone spikes along his upper back, curving around close to the base of his neck and extending out and up from there. Down the middle of his back runs a long bone fin, and a pair of large bone fins appears next to and above his wrists and ankles. A deep crimson mark appears on his face, like an upside down V, with the point at the top of his nose. Each of the bone appendages is razor sharp, and rather than his spear, Nicciele holds a long twin-bladed dagger in each hand, the blades curving around and meeting in a teardrop shape. Both ends of the daggers are equally deadly, with the hilts ending in sharp points. He is among the fastest of all arrancar, but isn't one to be underestimated in a contest of brute strength, either.
HISTORY: Nicciele has been a hollow for a very long time - he was once a human noble, but has long since stopped caring about that life. Though it took many years, he ascended the ranks of hollows and became a Vasto Lorde, and eventually joined Las Noches, becoming an arrancar with the hougyoku and an espada. He feigned loyalty, pretending to follow Aizen for a very long time, learning what he could of his plans and studying him for any weaknesses. In truth, he hated Aizen, and when he came to Hueco Mundo, Nicciele immediately began his planning to remove him from the hollows' land, feeling that only hollows belonged there, and that Aizen's self-proclaimed rule was an insult to all hollows. After feigning his death and leaving the espada, he formed Palida Luna as a secret resistance against Aizen's rule, taking in other hollows who oppose him. Palida Luna has since grown, even containing a few hollows residing in Las Noches.
