NAME: Inoue Orihime
AGE: 15
GENDER: Female
RANK AND DIVISION: Student
APPEARANCE:
PERSONALITY: Orihime is friendly, sensative and kind. She comes off as an airhead sometimes, being overly optimistic and not all the time logical. She's clueless but very smart, getting exceptionally high marks in school. She's stronger than she looks; Tatsuki mentions when Orihime took martial arts with her, she attained the rank of a black belt. She cares for her friends and tries her hardest to protect and heal them. She'll even take the time to heal her enemies, if she feels they didn't deserve to be struck. She tries all the time to get stronger, so not to feel like a burden.
ZANPAKUTOU: Shun Shun Rikka
Shun Shun Rikka consists of 6 fairies: Ayame, Shun'o, Hinagiku, Baigon, Lily, and Tsubaki. They take the place of a zanpakuto in use against enemies. The original incantion was to recite the names of the fairies needed with "Watashi wa kyozetsu suru - I reject" But Orihime is strong enough to not need to recite the names.
Santen Kesshun: Orihime's defensive technique. The technique arranges Hinagaku, Baigon and Lily into a triangle, forming a barrier to reject, or repel oncoming negative events or attacks.
Souten Kisshun: Healing technique in which Shun'o and Ayame form an oval-like barrier over the person, body part or thing. It goes beyond simple healing and rejects the negative events that occured. She can heal anything that existed before being damaged.
Koten Zanshun: Orihime's only offensive technique in which Tsubaki zips toward the enemy, with the ability to cut through nearly anything. Orihime doesn't use him often unless extremely necessary because she dislikes direct comabat. Tsubaki's strengh is relevant to Orihime's fighting resolve; leaving him not as strong as he could be, thus gets damaged easily.
HISTORY: Orihime's hairpins were a give from her brother, the day he died. She had refused to wear them, thinking they be too childish but after her brother's death she grew very attached to them. She never removes them besides sleeping.
Orihime's best friend is Arisawa Tatsuki, who she met a year after her brother died. Tatsuki defended Orihime when she was being bullied over her long hair. Tatsuki vowed to protect her and they've been friends ever since. Orihime grew her hair out in faith of Tatsuki.
Orihime lives alone in an apartment (Supported by relatives elsewhere) below her friend Tatsuki. She used to have an older brother but he died some years ago. His spirit turned into a hollow, after feeling lonely and abandoned seeing Orihime living her life happily, drifting further and further away from his memory. She started developing her powers after watching Ichigo fight her brother.
Orihime was a classmate of Kurosaki Ichigo, Sado Yasutora, and Ishida Uryuu. Being in direct contact with Ichigo's spirit led Orihime to unlock some of her own powers. She then joined Ichigo's group in helping save Kuchiki Rukia. She's been with them ever since.
OTHER: Orihime has very strange taste in food, wanting to put red bean-paste on EVERYthing. Only Rangiku shares her odd taste. Orihime also eats a lot, leaving everyone wondering where she puts it all and how she can eat the things she makes.
Orihime's also part of a Handicrafts club at school with Ishida Uryuu.
