NAME: Hamasaki Sayuki (Saaya)
AGE: 14
GENDER: Female
RANK: Quincy
APPEARANCE: Sayuki looks young enough to be a gradeschooler, small and often wears shorts and sleeveless tops. You'll always see stars of some sort on her person, usually in the form of stickers or buttons, colored dark blue and orange. Her eyes are an amber color, usually hid behind her strawberry-blonde bangs, and layered hair that goes down to her shoulders. She wears a charm bracelet on her right wrist, one of which charms is a Quincy's cross.
PERSONALITY: Saaya is by no means brave, very shy when wanting to confront people and very easily spooked. She isn't much of a fighter, often giving into her "fight or flight" response and fleeing from confrontation. She hopes to be a better Quincy, even if it means having to endure some harsh criticism and tough training.
WEAPONS AND ABILITIES:
Kojaku: Kojaku is a bow formed by combining her own reiryoku with the reishi around her. Its arrows are made in the same way. It isn't very powerful and can only fire one arrow at a time at the skill level Saaya's at.
Hirenkyaku: A method of fast movement, similar to the shunpo used by shinigami. Sayuki is skilled in this ability, as she uses it often. Sometime's she'll fall on her face if she doesn't pay attention, however.
HISTORY: Sayuki comes from a family of Quincy, who a few generations ago tossed the name of the Quincy in favor of staying alive when they were about to be wiped out. They have since then been in hiding, fully capeable of using the abilities but choose not to get involved. The Quincy had no longer seen them worthy of the title, being as cowardly and pathetic as they were; the Hamasaki family were outcast.
OTHER: Though the Hamasaki family had no interest in the Quincy traditions, a few members here and there still practice it. One of which being Sayuki's older brother. He taught her the basics and tried to encourage her to stand up for them, despite the rejection the family's name have from the Quincy. Sayuki understands why her family pulled out from the battle, but can't help want to protect the traditions for her brother. Her brother is her Quincy Pride.
