Weekly Meme Night

NOTE: This week's weekly meme night will be held tomorrow night, Thursday, at 8 PM EST.

If you've looked around this forum at all, you probably have some idea of how much we love character memes. They're a lot of fun to fill out, and we've even made a chat game in which everyone participating does a collaborative meme together. There's been a decline in how often we have chats, though, so I thought...why not give us our chats and feed our meme addiction at the same time?

Therefore, I present...WEEKLY MEME NIGHT!

Once a week, we'll hold a chat over MSN, where we'll play our meme game, with a nice side of crack and fun.

WHEN: Fridays at 8 PM EST (tentative)
WHERE: MSN. You'll be invited to participate if you're online, and if you'd like to, you'll be added to the chat.

How to play:

Each player comes up with a set of questions, usually around 5, involving a scenario based around characters. However, no one knows what characters will be picked when the questions are made, so numbers, normally from 1 to 10, are listed for characters instead of names.

Example:
1 and 7 get in a pillow fight at 8's house! Who wins, and what does 8 do?

Participants do not share their questions with each other. Once everyone has their questions finished, the entire group together starts listing characters' names to fill in a numbered list. Then, turns are taken through the chat, with each person filling in one of their questions on their own turn.

For example, let's say that, in the numbered list, 1 was Zellse, 7 was Ran, and 8 was Kagoko. The question would become: 1 (Zellse) and 7 (Ran) get in a pillow fight at 8 (Kagoko)'s house! Who wins, and what does 8 (Kagoko) do?

The question is then answered and replied to by all of the participants, and then the next person takes their turn, filling in their own question. Turns continue throughout the chat, with each person filling in one of their questions at a time, until everyone has asked all of their questions.

It's important to note that when the list of characters is being made, no one is to reference their own questions. The idea is for the characters in each scenario to be random, making them much more surprising and amusing. It's also best if only characters of the people currently playing are involved, since sometimes it's hard to say how a character that isn't yours would react to something.

I am typically online any time after 3:3o p.m to around 5:oo a.m. I am kinda busy up until 1 a.m, but don't let that stop ya from pullin me into anything. ^.^ Monday - Friday is best for me however, since I am generally busy on the weekends.

Friday evening's looking to be the best for everyone so far then, since it's still weekend-y for said person-in-school...but if we need it to be on the weekend, that's definitely not ruled out! Thoughts? Good/not good?

Well said-person-in-school ( READ: Aly ) is actually busiest on Friday. She comes home anywhere after 5pm EST and she leaves back out for her fellowship between 6 and 7. That's why I'd voted for Saturdays. oxo

Bishi doesn't care when~ Bishi usually does it when she's bored out of her mind. Which is usually when we do it in the wee hours of the morning. xD So it's up to y'all.

Sounds like whatever day Aly's most available in the evening is the best time for us, then. XD Maybeee...7 or 8? I don't know what day is good for her, though. Or if she'd even want to participate, for that matter.

Hmm. Who knows. We could always just go by what we active people would want for a solid time. Maybe if we can't catch Aly, we can have an impromptu meme night when she IS on?

THAT SAID, how about tentatively Friday at 8pm until we get Aly's input, then we can change it to Saturday if she wants to participate?
